Aidan gives it to you presearing. (And I think all the presear skills can be found from skill trainers in post-sear Ascalon.)

This is one of those near the edge of being an elite skill, if you are a R/Me, use echo, then dual shot, your echo becomes dual shot and u can just spam dual shot non stop for 20 sec. Excellent combination with the preparation ignite arrows, as you see all those dmg.

South of wizards tower there is a village of sorts, have to go through lots of skale to get there. Further south is Aidans hut, with Aidan outside, and you get a quest from him that rewards you with this and a preparation(either Ignite or RtW).

I agree this skill is great with ignite arrows or if a single target kindle arrows can also be nice. I'm R/mo I use judge's insight, ignite arrows and dual shot and that boosts my damage up immensely.

I use this with ignite and some other quick shot skills, so in like a couple sec I do a lot of dmg while intetupting, burning,or knocking down. Its like a mini barrage without losing your preps

umh wha ?

for as far as i know dual shot is listed as a bow attack and as we all know dualshot's energy will be affected by expertise thus lowering the cost and i think youre confusing the elite Echo with the non elite Arcane Echo

You really don't play attention then. Because you don't know what your talking about.

Being not attribute linked means the skill will always work the same no matter your attribute setting.

Expertise's special effect of lowering cost 4% every level doesn't determine if it works or not based upon attribute linkage, but rather what KIND of skill it is (this is totally independent of Expertise's attribute linkage itself).

Any:
Nature Ritual (spirit)
Trap
Glyph
[X] Attack (sword, hammer, bow, axe)
Preperation

Will be lowered.

Dual Shot being a "Bow Attack" is effected.

Also energy penalties caused by rituals or hexes etc, so a better way to say it is "any non-spell skill gets a 4%*Expertise level reduction in energy cost".

Is dual shot affected by the mod energy+1 on hit? I have a bow with that and Id like to try something in PvP.

Yeah I believe it is.

And expertise definitely works with dual shot.. my ranger would run out of energy in 4 volleys otherwise.
